The iStent is a minimally invasive treatment for glaucoma. Used at the time of cataract surgery, Dr. Raviv is able to treat concurrent glaucoma which occurs in 1 in 6 cataract surgical patients. So with one laser cataract surgery procedure, Dr. Raviv is able to decrease patients’ dependence on glasses as well as their glaucoma drops.
